Between the Florida Everglades and Biscayne Bay, lies Miami, 'the magic city'. With a reputation of having the prettiest beaches, energizing nightlife and lots of recreation, the city offers the ultimate diversion for any traveler. As a destination for fun, Miami will provide you with an unparalleled, relaxing vacation. Boutique Miami hotels are always ready to help you begin your unforgettable experience in this enchanting city.

One of the best aspects about a stay at one of the many boutique Miami hotels is the relatively warm temperature and weather the city affords visitors and locals. This provides the opportunity for everyone to enjoy outdoor activities all year long.

As can be imagined for a city close to the ocean, Miami offers a sea full of water activities. Take a seaplane tour and see the city in a way you can't see walking on land. Go parasailing at up to 800 feet over the Atlantic Ocean. Paddle around Star Island and Key Biscayne. Rent a jet ski and go water skiing, then swim with dolphins. Get a boat to relax on the open sea or to go deep sea diving in the great blue. Whatever water activity you decide to do, you will certainly have an enjoyable experience. For the nature lover, there are more than 50 parks and gardens within the city to explore including Bicentennial Park, Bayfront Park and Tropical Park.

If you are up for the journey you can take a day cruise to the Grand Bahamas Island just for fun. As the "cruise capital of the world", Miami has the busiest seaport in the world and is the number one passenger and cruise port. The city has enjoyed this status for more than two decades, making it an excellent gateway to all parts of the world.

Miami is not all fun and no work. The city is a vital financial center within the United States and an important center of finance and commerce. Because the city is very close to Latin America, it functions as the headquarters for close to 1,500 multinational corporations. This is one of the many reasons Miami is a prominent city in the international business community and why boutique Miami hotels are able to handle travelers from all over the world.

Entertainment is one of Miami's strong points. The Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts is Florida's largest performing arts center and only comes in second to New York's Lincoln Center as one of the largest performing arts centers within the country. The center houses the Florida Grand Opera and offers excellent performances including ballets, concerts, operas and musicals.

The city is alive with a rich variety of music from all over the world and its combination brings the city to life. This can come from the sound of someone playing the congas, seeing people dancing to merengue, or hearing a hint of soca or calypso music as you walk through the neighborhoods.

No conversation about Miami can be done without at least a mention of South Beach, also known as SoBe. The water is cool and the sun is warm, making South Beach an excellent place to just lie in the sun and enjoy the day. If sitting still doesn't fit your personality, then take a walk down Lincoln Road to South Beach's open air market and explore.

When the sun goes down in South Beach that's when the fun really begins. On Washington Avenue, you'll find the best nightclubs anywhere. In fact, the avenue is renowned for its nightclubs that keep the party going well into the morning, especially if you happen to be in the area during early March to September. You will definitely have lots of fun with and without the sun in South Beach.

Miami has very popular and familiar attractions such as the water animals at the outdoor aquarium, affectionately titled the Seaquarium and Zoo Miami, a free-range zoo that houses animals from Australia, Asia and Africa. There are even museums spread throughout the city.

One of the best things about the city and boutique Miami hotels is that things are always taken to a better level. You can come for a relaxing vacation but end up leaving with a magical memory you will remember again and again!
